In late 2024, necessity greeted long-simmering ambition when Uplift founder Matt Gladman faced redundancy in his career.
Matt had spent years navigating the hospitality industry as a General Manager across an eclectic range of venue-types, including gastro-pubs, nightclubs, business hotels, and Thai beach bars.
Subsequently, after a couple of years overseeing the Central London region for one of the UK's premier stock auditing firms, Matt joined the esteemed North Bar family as Stock & Compliance Auditor. He quickly advanced to a senior leadership role, managing all elements of stock control and profitability.
Now, with Uplift, Matt's operational expertise and extensive experience drive our commitment to continuous improvement.
